Please help newbie!!!

This may sound a bit strange for someone wanting to give up cigs and move to vaping, but I feel a good, and painless, starting point is to buy a cheap disposable, while still on the cigs, and give it a bash. A few days on the diposable ecig/roll ups will give you a clue as to whether you think the change is viable. Whilst disposable ecigs are,in no way, the perfect vape, when used in combination with your stinkies, something will click, and tell you either 'yes, this vaping lark is worth a bash' or 'no way, they are crap, i'll stick with the fags'. You could also try a nicotine patch or two, whilst you are making the change, just to keep your addiction topped up. Spend the time experimenting with the disposable ecig/fags/patches combo, do your homework and use some google mania to find a bit of kit that takes your fancy, if you decide to go 'all the way'. This 'stress free' intro to vaping is a good way to sample the benefits, unless you are brave enough to just dive straight in.
There's a lot of psychological rigmarole going on when you switch to vaping, and any decisions must be your own, nobody who smokes can ever tolerate anybody trying to tell 'em what to do.

that's a good idea! yeh 10 motives is a nice start, that rechargeable one with a 7 pack (i still use the battery off one! with v-nano clearomisers)

(dont get the e-lite tho - cos u can't use that battery with mini clearos if you upgrade)

EDIT: then again at the price you may as well get a proper starter kit ;-)

(i mean how much do you spend a week on baccy?)

I did have a sky cig last year didnt smoke a rookie for 10 days felt great, shame the kit was sh*t to be honest.

used me cousins tw tornado at Xmas and I could work with something like that. Anyone got a link to direct products similar to a tornado rcs ?

i spend about £80 a month on baccy.

I have been vaping almost 3 years and never had real tobacco since! I had and still have Riva 510's and evo's aswell now. If you are kicking the tobacco habbit, then forget fruit etc flavoured liquid,
stay with the tobacco flavoured liquids! Works for me. I cant see the sense in vaping fruit if you want to give up real tobacco. If you want a good throat hit and lots of vape, you need a tobacco flavoured liquid,
70 vg and 30 pg, 24/ 28 mg nicotine. Have a look on bestcigliquid , absolutely brilliant liquids and freepost. Andy will help you if you are stuck on ordering, they concentrate on tobacco flavours and if you look on you tube, Andrew Scotchmer who knows his oats, has done 46 reviews on ecigs, and liquids and can offer you a wealth of info that helps the new starter. Good luck, and well done for kicking real tobacco!!

Personally, I never went for the baccy flavours - and it certainly helps reinforce vaping as a better experience (give me custard over tobacco anyday).

As for kits - if you don't want VV/VW, then the ego style is ideal (though an ego twist/spinner does add VV in so you can tailor your vape a little more).

As a basic kit, I'd suggest 2 egos (one for using, one for charging) and a couple of tanks. On cost, I'd say one or two each of the iclear 16s and Evods, as this allows you to try top and bottom coil without breaking the bank. Both have replaceable coils, so they're pretty cost effective.

I moved up to the itaste VV v3.0, and it is a HUGE step-up, but I still use the egos as well, so you won't lose anything by going for egos now, even if you upgrade later.

I would definitely avoid TW, their products aren't exclusive, just rebranded and more expensive versions of cheaper kit elsewhere. I've heard very good things about myepack, and I believe they do double evod/ego starter kits, so that's your primary kit - just add a couple of iclears and you're good to go

I was a 30 a day rolly girl, 11 years Amber leaf, one day I decided I had to stop, fed up with the early morning non breathing larky cough cough cough, so I got my other half to get me the nicolite starter pack, they are slagged off alot, the ( cig-A-like) but that's only because once u start with a proper kit you will be like wow wow this is actually alot easier than I was expecting. I was on the nicolite for 2 days until I got my other half to find the nearest vaping shop which was like 30+ miles away ( bcoz he loves me lol) anyway he got me a itaste ep, not the best but big step up then my ego kit turned up wow, nothing compared to the next upgrade but once you get started on another kit you won't even think about a fag/stinkie, completely changedy life, good luck on your journey :)

Oh, and on the mg front - I was smoking 17-20 regular cigs a day. Started on 18mg, but was making my own from the first week, so dropped to 16mg early on. That has been a good level for me.
