The transition is nice if using the browser scroll bar Did you try using the keyboard down-arrow?

Yeah, but that 1px jump is more than I can be arsed to deal with at the moment. Because the header is changing size, the height to the top of the page is shrinking and undoing it. It's a bloody pain, but I'm not sure how many people will be tapping down 1 pixel

Probably just me, as I use the keyboard to navigate, so it's noticeable because the navigation stops when it resizes. I'm just used to pressing the down arrow as I read through a thread as I don't use a mouse on my laptop, just the trackpad and arrow keys/pg-up/down. I can retrain myseslf, not a biggie. The floating menu makes up for it

Only weird thing I've found is when copying and pasting something into a reply post the page scrolls back to the top of the page and I have to scroll back down to the reply tab.

I reported that when testing pre-move. Apparently a known issue with the forum software. Happens in Chrome/Edge and Firefox.
