I doubt that we would be banned, i mean thats one of the reasons why i (and countless others) fight for the country and for the right free speech!

As much as it pains me, we have to be realistic sometimes here. If this were to happen under this new proposed EU document....

Essentially the website would have to revert back to being only a forum and all of the extra services would be shut down, the MP, the Classies both internal and external..and then we would be seriously limited on what we could allow and not allow on the forum, depending on what happens, so that we would not be breaking any laws. And then that's only if we can afford to stay open as just a forum with severe limitations, how many members would we lose over the ban...how many new ones would we get? Probably not many... we could always go underground, but that has its own repercussions too.

It's not just black and white and there are so many umbrella's being opened by this document and it pretty much covers all of POTV, even the forum.

I think the team would brainstorm ways around it and try to keep the place up and going if this were to happen and it is some time away, but it is a possibility. It always has been from the day we started that med regs or a ban would shut us down. We will keep you guys updated always, as to what might happen. I only just sent OC a message this morning about it but for now, this is here to stay and we wont be scared off that easily!

Its only a democracy once every five years on voting day ( moot point because there is no F**ker to vote for really ) then its a dictatorship for the next five years. I have strongly come to believe that our MP's forget who voted for them and who is working for who, its just them for themselves and what's good for them personally!!. More third world politics than western world.

If a blanket ban was to come in to effect then I for one would quite happily go underground. I am still brand new at this but even so I am worried that some stupid law is possibly going to make me go back to the cigs. I have never mixed a batch of juice in my life but I will be purchasing all necessary items to do so just in case, as well as plenty of kit, batteries etc. Operation Stockpiling begins now.

The simple solution would be to move to a Swedish server and be protected by their freedom of information laws (grundlag). Just need to register an editor in chief with Swedish authorities. Or move the site to a server in a none EU country.

Course, here's hoping it doesn't come to that.
