As much as this remake of an Austrian corporal may want to stifle debate, I reckon that he would do well to bear in mind that the European Convention on Human Rights might stop his ambitions in their tracks. For example, Articles 10 and 11:

Article 10 – Freedom of expression
1. Everyone has the right to freedom of expression. Its all looks gloomy again,The way proposals are reworded ie its not a ban ,its something like a ban.
Why doesn't some one come up with a alternative word for ecig,after all most people dont want it to look like a cigarette,
Let the big tobacco companies market a silly looking ecig,
if the device we use is say a VIC vapour induction coil,would that require another ban,
I am clutching at straws,but it would distance us a bit from ecig,and someone could come up with a catchy name.
