Right then after a short break from this temp control in droppers am giving it another go.
Same bloody problems though am getting a really harsh throat hit with a juice that I know has next to no throat hit.
It feels as if am getting a dry hit in temp control.
Am using an IPV4 and a tugboat V1, spaced 30guage annealed NI200 12 wraps on a 3mm screwdriver and am at 250c at 27.5j.

Am I doing something wrong?
Am I slightly off somewhere?
Any and all help will be greatly appreciated guys.
Cheers!

I know someone positive will be along in a minute - but I had so many dry hits from TC builds it was stupid. Hope you get it sorted before your patience wears as thin as mine did.

It's made because sometimes it's spot on i get really good flavour a nice amount of throat hit... Which means a ting bit and some really decent clouds but then it's naff constantly.t dry hits, no flavour and when it's not dry hits it's hellish throat hit

Yep. That's why I gave up, same thing happened to me and I figured I didn't want to be bothered trying to learn when kanthal works fine for me.

Always nice to see a thread like this after committing myself to possibly the same affliction.

Apparently you want a spaced coil and to have both the mod and coil at room temperature when putting the battery in, could also be related to airflow with a different size of coil.

What is the resistance of the coil at? Temp wise 250c seems a little too high- the burning point of cotton is 210 or 215c if I remember correctly. I never go above 215c on my SX Mini, but temp control is pretty new to me too

That's the kicker aint it, there ain't a hope in hell that you can get an rda with the right sized airflow holes in for an NI200 coil seeing as they need to be spaced.

Resistance is 0.16 at rest, I normally have my subtank around the 250-260c mark with the ni200 OCC heads in and never have a problem even at 30-40j
