And what is the difference between Kanthal A1 and Kanthal D?
Kanthal A1 differs from kanthal A and D in that it is more stable at higher temperatures due to a slightly different ratio of Iron, Chromium and Aluminum.
Kanthal A1 - 1400°C (2600°F)
Kanthal A - 1350°C (2460°F)
Kanthal D - 1300°C (2370°F)
Hiya, great post! Quick question.... Does the post screw out or just pull out? I'm struggling.
Edit....so got past that hurdle but the top wick fell apart and I don't have any to cut to replace it. What weight silica did u use please? Also which wire? I may aswell get both, hehe!
ive just tried this , great tutorial , just have to ask , is there a break in time for this , or have i done something wrong as it tastes a bit poo.
I have found some wick gives you a yucky taste. I did find it cleared after half a tank though.
brilliant , well im going to make a second rebuild just incase while vaping through this current one it becomes too much for my poor little tastebuds , thanks again for the brilliant tutorial , super easy to follow
