cotton is good but im not vigilant enough to not dry fire !! Blech!

A microcoil using cotton wicks is incredibly easy. If you are worried about incinerating it on accident, just drop a bit of eliquid on the cotton as soon as you are finished with the rebuild. That way when you are reassembling the rest of the unit (whether that be for a Kanger coil or a Kayfun tank system, whatever) that way an accidental fire will only produce a bit of sizzling vapour.

I haven't done it myself, but for the purpose of demonstration reviewers on youtube have shown what a dry fire on cotton does...now I wouldn't recommend it! But it certainly does not look like you are going to set the house on fire. As always, safety first!!! but it shouldn't deter you from using cotton!

Wasn't worried about safety here bud, just the taste of burnt cotton when I don't notice I've emptied the tank......I like ekowool personally

Ahhh I see! Sorry about the confusion. If and when that happens just roll another wick! I'm only such a big advocate of cotton because it's cheap as chips and incredibly easy to obtain in a pinch.

My protank 2 has been transformed by using the airflow controller from Myepack

lt would have been in the bin by now if I hadn't bought one.
