Ok here we go! My leaves arrived from terry at leisureliquids today and first surprise is the smell or lack of! I'm used to opening a pouch of baccy and getting hit by the smell but this has just the lightest hint of an odour! I've used about 1/2 the leaves so if I cock it up I can try it again, lol!

step 1 is to chop it up into little pieces. It's not normally safe to let me loose with a knife but I still have all 3 fingers so all is good :D

step 2 soaking in vg, squishing and stirring. I know using a small amount of vodka is recommended but I prefer to avoid it. Then I left it for 1/2 an hour to soak in abit.

step 3 is off to the cooker to warm it through. Lots more stirring and squishing and a little taste test. I never realised how sweet vg is! Now it tastes sweet and slightly spiced. I kept it on the warm for about 10 minutes.

step 4 is to steep something which doesnt take so long!

nearly there now (photobucket is giving me the runaround tonight so bear with me :D
step 5 is where the empty teabags have come in. Ive decanted the mixture into one of the said teabags so act as a steeper and a filter in one so hopefully it wont impede anything doing this! I know with tea you get a much better flavour by giving the leaves as much space as possible but the tobacco has broken down even more now its been soaking and squished! Ive put the bag and the mixture in a jam making jar. It looks clear and there is a slight colour to it

It is now sitting in my airing cupboard with the lid closed. Ill check it every day and take a photo so we can all see what changes have occurred if any! Fingers crossed :D

Blimey PF. I look forwards to the results. I will post a piccy of my latest steep soon.... I do none of the cooking stuff - except a bit of a warming zap in the microwave - when its all boil in the bag VG immersed.

It's not really cooking, just prolonged warming. I must be one of the few people who doesn't have a microwave! Also my kitchen is so cold that the vg almost came out in a lump :D I'd love to see what yours looks like-after all I've shown you mine ;)

IM watching this baby like a hawk ..
