Yeh, he does, but you can also get him directly for cheaper

Will it not run off 2xaa in series

It will if you wire it like that. Although the bottom end for running a led meter is about 2.8v so there won't be much battery life. One charged 14500 will probably last a lifetime.

I'll do a drawing later for 2xaa like, it just requires a little rearranging of the battery terminals

Simple just wire each battery on either side in series and not parallel, the switch can enter the circuit at any point on the BT
