Quick question from a TC newbie

Hi all, just started playing around with TC now that i have a new mod (Koopor mini) and a new tank (OBS T-VCT with Ni2000 coils (will be doing my own builds soon)) and i'm just curious as to what would happen if i accidentally fired the nickel coils whilst in wattage mode, will i have to bin the coil? Will the mod go into meltdown?

Nickel increases it's resistance as it heats up. Most mods these days actively monitor the resistance even in wattage mode and so as the resistance increases the voltage will likewise increase to maintain the wattage you have selected which could result in burning and nasty stuff created in your juice and the coil metal itself. Best not to really. Most regulated devices like the koopor will protect the device itself but most likely the wick will burn at the very least if not the coil itself.
