Reaction to Kanthal?

This is my build. Fine with the pre built coils but wicked my one pictured here and almost instant tongue burning sensation! would say it's the metal, but both are all Kanthal a1. Sooo weird

The coils look good my friend. Health comes first though so I'd stick to stock coils if you don't have a reaction with them.

Thanks so much for the help. Annoyingly seems nothing is working just so weird, if I use the pre bough coils it's fine, but even if I use Kanthal a1 parallel build I seem to get a tongue burning sensation and caked sores. Anyone have any ideas? I can't build anything!

I'm having the exact same experience with kanthal wire from stealthvape. It's tickling and burning my throat apart. The wire is the only possible reason, because I've used the juice and cotton many times before. I'm not sure if it's poor quality wire or i have an allergy to kanthal?

Not from Rob. Far better and cleaner wire than you’ll find from most.

Stealthvape wire is the cleanest in the game. Wouldn’t use anything else. And I’m a total pussy allergic to everything.

I guess I just don't get on with kanthal then. I always do some research on websites before buying any vape related products from them, and found nothing but praise for stealthvape to be fair. I'll try some of their SS 316L wire.

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen.
May i join the discussions, so far from what i have read the onliest thing that comes to my mind is do you ultrasonic clean your coils after you wrap them, in case of damage to the surface of the wire when you getting it wrapped.
My suggestion is to get your coils clean with ultrasonic and than install them in the Atty.

I don't own an ultrasonic cleaner. I'm pretty sure I have a slight allergy to kanthal. I seem to get a bad taste and sore throat strictly with kanthal. I've come across a fair few other people who've said they have the same experience with it over the past week.

If you are allergic to alloy resistance wire.
You could give Zirconium and Titanium a try but be careful both work only on TC and nothing else.
