in the new year I am venturing into the world of rebuildables.
I am looking at igo l, igo w, kraken to begin with.
I need assistance in writing a list of all tools, mesh, wick and wire etc I will need...
thanks in advance :)

Precision screwdrivers
Tweezers
Scissors
Large nail clippers
Blow torch (for mesh)

Thats all I use anyway. :)

I wouldn't reccomend the lighter as it will just blacken the mesh and also the fuel taste could taint the mesh

I'd say the gas stove is the minimum requirement, it works but not ideal. By the time you've got your mesh oxidised the heat has already travelled to your fingers lol. With a blow torch you can have the job done before the heat has travelled that far.

you can pick up a kitchen butane blow torch for around £6 on fleabay ( got mine from there and works a treat )

also got me some helping hands.. ideal for when doing those fiddly little coils

some mini pliars

cotton wool for wicking from Tesco/boots/asda /insert your local supermarket ( bleach free ones )

i also have a couple of squares of old bedsheet.. for mopping up any spilt liquid etc and laying out the tools and bits of wire and wick on makes it easier to see them.

nail clippers ( the large ones ) great for cutting the wire

the mini screwdrivers double up for making micro coils by using the smallest one to wrap the coil around but also have a few other bits of straight metal i had in an old toolbox. ( a decent length nail will do just fine )

think that just about covers most of it! sounds alot but all are only a few pounds or less.. maybe all in £20-30
