Hi silent, I got my pliers from Wilkinsons and screwdriver set from asda, tweezers and nail clippers from boots and a brûlée torch from a kitchen ware shop for about £8, picked it all up for under £20.

For scissors I'd go for braid blades from a fishing tackle shop, wire, mesh, silica ect I get from the Vapemesh company and organic cotton wool from boots or Wilkinsons.

Hope it helps

Nail clippers or 4¼" end cutters.

locking tweezers with flat ends.

I use #0 Philips and 2mm flat ¼" Hex 25mm long screwdriver bits because even the smallest precision screwdrivers give you the opportunity to over-tighten screws.

Some sort of illuminated magnifying glass, preferably on a stand or headband.

Roll of masking tape to wrap around threaded mod and atty bodies with stuck together threaded joints.

A selection of round wire or drills from 1mm to about 3mm for winding coils and wicks.

Screw in type ohm meter designed for 510 threads. Nice for beginners or the experimental but I never use mine.

I don't have a torch because I oxidize wicks and wire by holding them in the flame from the burner on my cooker hob. Works fine for me!
