Recommend me some wire

Hey guys, looking at lots of wires to build coils and want something without stainless steel and without nickel in....I've been told kanthal is a good one to go for so hoping so.eine xan recommended me what wire to go for....it will be on a dual coil build vaping 40-60w so I think I want to make. . 14 ohm coils. I havd come across the site wireandstuff but unsure which wire to go for from the kanthal range. If you could help me out it would be much appreciated, thank you

14 or 1.4 ohms? Dueled so 0.7 ohm in total?

Hey bro my mistake so it's actually. . 4 ohm in.total so. . 2 each...I wanted to get as close to 30awg as possible so I could still possibly use a jig

For .4 ohms you'll want two coils, .8 ohms each, the resistance is halved

If you want 0.4 ohms in total, then each coil needs to be 0.8 ohms, not 0.2ohms. You halve it for the total resistance. 30 AWG is too high a resistance, and also too thin and bendy for this kind of coil, will be a nightmare. You'd need about 2 wraps!

Have a play wih the figures on Steamengine as posted. It will help you get your head round it.

No! It's too thin, look at the link I've posted, it would be 3 wraps each coil. Look at steam engine & have a play, you'll want something like 5 to 10 wraps each coil which 24 or 26g would achieve

You are making quitting smoking far harder than it needs to be by trying to get your head around coil-building at the same time. Please consider a sub ohm tank like the Freemax Mesh Pro to get you started. You screw the coil in the same way you do a lightbulb - easy. It’s a very highly rated sub ohm tank, very good flavour and clouds, and is perfect for high VG liquids

Yeh mate ive looked and your right so I've ordered some 26 guage so it's not a single ring lol
