So who do you guys recommend for flavourings? I've been looking at Vapable, prices are damn good and the reviews seem good too. How do I work out what to subtract from my PG ml?

For example:

Nicotine 72mg (100% PG): 12.5ml
PG dilutant: 6.5ml
VG dilutant: 76ml
Flavourings: 5ml

total: 100ml

The Flavourings I like the look of are all PG based, how do I incorporate this into my mix? I imagine at only 5% flavouring it wouldn't make a HUGE difference, however, if I decide to ramp it up at 10-15% flavouring then that'll completely throw my desired 80VG/20PG ratio?

OK so after a little more research I think I'll need to thin my juice a tad with deionised water (might try vodka if the TH is poor, or maybe both?!) as I do enjoy a break from the RDA and just fill up my tank when I can't be bothered to drip.

altered example:

Nicotine juice 72 mg (100% PG): 12.5ml
PG dilutant: 4.5ml
VG dilutant: 68ml
Water/Vodka/PGA: 10ml
Flavourings: 5ml

Total: 100ml

How would I incorporate flavourings from 5-10% into my PG reduction?

Firstly, I would recommend using a calculator to determine the amount of each needed. You can find a good one here eJuice Me Up - Best eJuice Calculator

Going by the figures you have posted it looks like you are making a high VG juice, in which case you may find you need more than 5% flavourings.

What strength juice are you looking to make?

wanna try 9mg first and see how I get on with that, may need to increase for the throat hit as currently I'm vaping 9mg @ 55VG/45PG

Increasing PG will increase the throat hit, so rather than increase the nicotine strength try increasing the PG amount first. You may find a 50/50 juice is a good compromise, certainly I find 50/50 to have a decent throat hit (actually too much throat hit for me), and I vape at 3mg.

Yup but I'm currently vaping 55VG/45PG juice and in all honesty it's too thin (not sure if the vendor has thinned it?), also the vape it's producing is a little disappointing - both on a subtank and an RDA. Just thrown some 14 Gauge blunt tip needles in the amazon basket, will order VG nicotine - thankfully I didn't order the PG one yet, that way if I decide to go with a 70VG/30PG mix all I have to do is reduce the VG and increase the PG, right?

With regards to the amount of vapour, what ohms is your coil and what wattage are you putting through it? Again, with 50/50 juice on a 0.5 coil at 20-30 watts I get more than enough vapour.

If you decide to buy the VG nicotine and opt for the 70/30 ratio, the 70% will be made up of both the nicotine base and straight VG, while the straight PG and flavourings will make up the 30%

Also, be wary of ordering from places like amazon and ebay, personally I would rather order from specialist vape vendors, but that's just me. Although you should be OK with blunt needles though.

Tried a 0.6ohm coil @ 20-25w and currently using a 1.1ohm coil @ 21w - don't get me wrong, the vapour is there and it's not exactly poor but I am wanting more. tehee.

With regards to Amazon I'm closely checking all the reviews before buying anything. I managed to find Classikool VG and PG at a fraction of their website price on there, although I'm told Boots is even cheaper? I'm using Amazon exclusively for PG/VG, syringes and squeezey bottles. Everything else is being ordered elsewhere - DarkStar with 250ml nicotine @ £16.99 is such a no brainer!

I buy my VG & PG from ebay (not that I need any PG most of the time now), but get nic from dedicated vaping suppliers.
A calculator's definitely worthwhile. I vape 80% VG and like lots of flavour, so the 20% PG is my flavour, VG nic for 6mg result & top up with VG.
Lots of vapour!

Do you thin at all? And do you ever vape that juice through a tank?
