Recommended Mod to start with?

I've always considered this to be the most stupid question anyone can ask. No one on here knows your taste and you'll get 100 different people advising you to get 100 different mods. I personally would say get a Provari straight away and save yourself the hassle of wasting a shed load of money on crap... Your going to want one eventually.

My advice to any newcomer would be to watch every review on this web site.

And then watch every review on this web site and then make your own mind up what you think will suit you and your personal taste.

I've wasted so much money buying shit that other people have recommended to me. What maybe the best thing since sliced bread to them could be a month old unsliced, inedible loaf to you.

Good luck with it.

Tony review sites are fine but at the end of the day they are just one more persons opinion of a device. Your other comments about best thing since sliced bread/old inedible loaf also apply to them.

The OP asked the question on the forum in order to gather many opinions and that's just what he's getting. It wasn't a stupid question at all.

To the OP.... I've got an in innokin mvp and like it a lot. It's well built (probably not as well built as a provari) looks good with a wide range of tanks, has stellar battery life and generally does a good job. Just my opinion.

I started off with a small evo battery and c4 tank, was good, reliable and didn't leak. Then went to the Spinner battery with a protank 2, much better performance and no leaking. Next was the Hcigar Chi You with Fogger V3, what a pain! (to start with) now i have it performing really well and not leaking, i really cannot fault it. Still use the spinner and protank though for when i really can not be bothered or too lazy to rebuild the Fogger! :)

SVD and a protank 3 look good and svd is easy to use

Should buy shares in myepack the way there cashing in on all the custom at the minute lol, I'd also recommend maybe trying a carto tank, or a different type of atomiser, then try different mods?

My first 'third generation' move has been to get the iTaste VTR. It comes with an iclear 30 S clearo and frankly I've never looked back. It's a bit of a lump, but it looks really nice, vapes fantastically well and has variable voltage and wattage in a clear display with an easy to use adjuster.

It's obviously subjective, but I think it was a great move and it's pretty cheap on the above mentioned site (cheaper than I paid for it - *weep* - although I had the convenience of buying it in a store and looking at it first etc to make sure I was happy with the heft of the thing).

I'm at the same stage as you, been 7 weeks and now want to move up a bit before I get into the building aspect. I'm either gonna order the itaste MVP or the SVD, from my personal opinion it seems like a good starting place from the reviews. I think the MVP might just win it though due to battery life and not having to replace the batteries.

Replaceable batteries are a positive thing though.... You can have one on charge and one being used, and alternate. WIthout that you have to keep it plugged in when not in use, no?

Yeah that's true but I don't mind vaping while it's charging and I don't get out much tbh, and when I do go on short journeys I'll just use my ego setup.

Innokin are great for the step up from ego. There's the itaste vv v3.0 that's almost as slim as an ego, then their box mods that last forever on one charge (these 2 types do have fixed internal batteries, so will fade & die eventually). Then they do the SVD - lovely looking mod. I'll probably get one soon. Yhen there's the 134. Gorgeous, expensive - might attract some interest if you try to take it through airport security
