rethinking flavour

I require flavours at abotu 30% of the mix. Whatever a super taster is, I think I am the opposite.

I like the idea of lower concentrate blends, and I might try it. But I don't hold much hope because I find some commercial juices (digbys and baccy roots come to mind) a bit weak willed.

exactly this .. the flavour reduction scenario is not a fits all at all.

why dont we just have homeopathic vapes ... we can keep diluting flavours down in PG until they are untraceable and chemically not there and sell it as "custard - without the chemicals"

absolutely NO ONE im sure would just use PG and label it incorrectly .. just like homeopathic medicines ... they are defo all real ..

This thread's an interesting read.

Of course flavour is subjective. I find myself that I have to refine any mixes I make to get them to a place that I like. Sometimes I have to reduce flavours and others I have to increase. I also usually get my wife to try them and she almost always says that they're too strong or sickly. I can barely taste them when I adjust for her. I have a juice that I make for a couple of friends and one wants it stronger (to the point of it being ridiculous) and the other finds it perfect where I originally had it and what my 'mixing' head says is right.

It makes me wonder how manufacturers like ZT and others get their juice to the stage where it is good commercially. Where a lot of people like it. I am just a home mixer and make to how I like it so I can't imagine hundreds or thousands of people liking what I produce.
