Review Rocket science mods - pyrex drip tips

ebayhomepc ok I stand corrected, any elitist bastard drip tip will cost that.
however a fast tech clone whore can pick up twelve for 2 dorrar :P

Is £20 quid too much? Not if it is worth it to you.
Can you expect to pay £20 for an item of this quality? Definately/
Can you only get decent tips by spending big money? Bollox!

Just my opinion. :p

Look nice but over £20.00 for a drip tip?

Out of my league.

Thanks for the review

I thought so too for a while, but when you find a driptip that speaks to you likings... it really doesnt matter. I got a few that cost more than any average vaper would pay, but for me it was worth the cost. You might find yours one day!

I don't know how someone can justify selling something for that price when it's literally a tiny bit of pyrex tube plonked on a stainless steel cup with a rubber o ring. It probably literally only cost's 5 pounds if that, in materials to make one. I mean it's probably well made yeah, but £20 for some tiny little bit of pyrex you put in your mouth? I expect something magical that can actually do enough to warrant 20 quid, I mean all it does is sit on top of your tank. I suppose though it's like any other hobby, you'll always get those people with money to burn and quite happily will pay over the odds just to enlarge the ego and show off a bit.

I mean I still resent paying nearly £70 for a KFL+ because I have a 30 quid fogger which does just as good of a job and still looks damn good.

Tut tut Tutterz.. goto http://www.rocketsciencemods.com/#about and read more about the materials, its not your standard pyrex plonked on top of a stainless steel cup. Like with all materials there are varying grades and some cost more... the main thing here is perspective - your perspective is that it is ridiculous for someone to spend £20 or even £19 on a DT, which is fine, my perspective is that for a limited production item utilising high grade materials that is crafted by someone who has taken time to learn how to do this type of engineering.. it is fine but everyone has the right to their own opinion.. but if they do want to spend their money on it, it certainly doesn't make them a show off.. well maybe a little :P

These are all handmade Tutterz so you have to think about how long it's taken the guy to perfect the design, make the individual etc, also he will have to cover the cost for any defective ones he can't sell. He will have also had to invest money into equipment to make his stuff. After all of this I doubt he is making that much, not on the drip tips anyway!

If they were mass produced in China they would sell for
peanuts and made from cheap crap materials - but they are not.
...if they were made in china I for one wouldn't buy one!

and as I said in a previous post, I have been offered good money for mine, double what I paid to be precise (£40) and I didn't accept. That is how highly regarded these are.

high end is high end. Considering I have over £700 worth of atties and mods sat on a shelf, a quality drip tip that cost £20 to sit on top of them is a drop in the ocean. And a shit cheap drip tip would be an insult to the mods and atties they sit on.

just my opinions.

I think your in the dark age with what you say on the China stuff honestly there is loads of crap but quality is getting better and better half of the decent clones now use high grade steel and copper or silver plated pins etc

If you bought let's say the nemesis clone and you already had the original nemesis there's no way you could justify the price as its just not justifiable the difference would be so small but the price difference is massive.

Ok you like your genuine gear and you obviously feel special owning the original and that's good for you, I like a good cheap mod and if that a clone made in China that performs equal IR even better in a slightly lesser quality but a huge price difference then that's what I will buy I don't feel the need to feel special for owning a original :)

Edit @op

Sorry for messing up your review thread :) mods feel free to delete my posts.

£15 for a drip tip really? I'm in the wrong businesses, I usually see them coming :D hey but each to their own
would never spend £200 on a bong ( personal joke )
