Rose V2 clone now in UK - £26!!

I don't buy originals to show off what I can afford, I just have to go without other things to buy them!
I don't personally like clones, to me they're just counterfeits (purely my own, personal opinion, each to their own etc) and no-one needs them. You can get a perfectly good vape from an aerotank with a NV coil.
I used to spend a lot on fags, so a few quid on an atty isn't that big a deal, and I wanted to see what the hype was about.

As @Mostly pointed out, the cost of a Rose is a few days smoking (two and a half weeks for me, something like that) and it will last a hell of a lot longer and save my life into the bargain! :)

Some good points :D. Not sure if a aerotank would cut it personally, but i've been spoilt by better gear (real stuff too!)...in fairness, when nothing else was available, my horrible first set up (6+ years ago), was amazing!

I think my opinion may be slightly skewed by my personal circumstances....no need to go into details....but I guess the use of the term 'can't afford ' is misused by some people.

I admire the level of passion and belief of some people here...but don't think it should be forced upon others. Often they can be downright rude, and yet feel its justified by having 'the moral highground'. That's Bull IMO

The only times I post regarding this is to try help others empathize with a different point of view.....I agree with some of the arguments against and for.

Each to their own.

All the time I have wife, kids, car and various other priorities I will spend wisely.

If I can get a genuine for £130, or buy something what does the same for £30 and can give my wife £100 kids to take my kids out for the day then I will.

Plus if I had spent £130 and then seen threads detailing the Pallas clone, where genuine owners were confirming the vape quality is the same I would have felt like I had been robbed.

When I know one guy has actually purchased 4 originals, it’s no wonder they are screaming from the rooftops, defending the genuine article.

They are trying to convince themselves they haven’t wasted a shit ton of money.

Real point is did you NEED to spend £30 at all ?
All my mods bar the mor crann have been cloned
As have all my atties bar two
Did I feel disgruntled when they were cloned ?
Honestly yes briefly
But not because of perceived value
Because I feel it is morally wrong
I am not minted I have to save for everything I purchase
I am also not a collector
My mods go to work with me
Used every day (well not all of them)
There is a lot of fashion and sheep mentality in this game it would seem

Accurate to 5 microns. Kind of shoots that one in the foot, and its not particularly difficult to get materials analysis done.:woot:
But it will still never be a rose. The same as a polo shirt, regardless of quality, with a crocodile sewn on will never be a Lacoste polo shirt. Because it's not, it's something trying to be passed off as the actual item. So just because a clone is shit doesn't mean that the real thing is, I doubt anyone has ever judged a Lacoste polo on the quality of a fake. The same can be said for Nike trainers.

I can't help but feel clone users are almost justifying it to themselves that it's ok in these debates. Because deep down they know it is wrong and feel shit about it. There also seems to be a lot of bitterness like when people say they can't afford genuine items. It's such a rubbish excuse, I am not wealthy, I am
severely underpaid for what I do. But I am careful where I spend on other things, I sacrifice other things to but nice mods and atties. And vaping is my only vice. I'm sure there's some that claim they simply cannot afford but then drink like a fish, indulge on drugs at the weekend, have other expensive hobbies, drive flashy cars, visit strip clubs etc. all again stuff they do not need.
