Unless you can shorten the chimney, you're kinda stuck with the height.
Bugger. Thank you. Need to go sleep. Not really good thinking about vape stuff at bedtime lol. GoodnightUnless you can shorten the chimney, you're kinda stuck with the height.
View attachment 262050 Is something wrong with these Voopoo coils? There doesn't seem to be much wick showing through
There is a workaround but it's too much hassle as I prefer the Wotofo prebuilt and smrt coils. But if you have a few pnp coils with the wicking holes misaligned you can fix it with a couple of pliers. Hold the base with one set and turn the top cap with another until the holes align. For me, that's the worst part of some PnP coils, the wicking is chocked off which means the coils don't last as long, the MTL coil especially, call me cynical but I swear it's to replace coils sooner, Smok used to do it when they first tried mesh coil by making the ports smaller, they soon learned and thankfully produced large wick ports in their coils which made a HUGE difference, they went from lasting 2-3 days to lasting me almost a month.
I thought of that but didn't want to risk damaging the coil. Had an idea, I've got some cotton pads made from 100% cotton. If I cut them to size, could I use them instead of the Wotofo cotton strips? There is a workaround but it's too much hassle as I prefer the Wotofo prebuilt and smrt coils. Yes as I mentioned in the other thread, I stopped using the Wotofo supplied cotton. Should be easy enough to get the right width, length doesn't matter, but you'll need to experiment with the thickness. Also make sure the cotton pads are unbleached, unscented etc.I thought of that but didn't want to risk damaging the coil. Had an idea, I've got some cotton pads made from 100% cotton. Thank you, no doubt I'll be trying that in the next couple of days and I think they are pure without bleach and scent but quite old so I'll pick up more as mine have probably gathered smells of perfume lolYes as I mentioned in the other thread, I stopped using the Wotofo supplied cotton.
