Yes I've looked at lots of video tutorials but my eye sight isn't the best for fiddly things. I guess I'll take the plunge. I'll invest in an Xp pod for my AK47 and get the RBA to try. Then when I've mastered that my choices will be unlimited. Thank you

Get an RTA and start off using premade coils. You can pick them up for much cheaper than the coils you've been using and they will last way longer than you're used to. Then you can ease yourself into using wire to wrap your own coils (if you want to).

Honestly I think that particular rba isn't a good place to start building - it looks teeny tiny... You have to put everything in the same space as one of the plug in stock coils. A proper rta is usually designed around the space required for a coil rather than trying to fit the coil into an unsuitable space.

Although if you can build that you can probably build anything.

I don't have the AK-47 coils, but I have some that look similar - I'll happily take a couple of comparison pics to demonstrate the difference in available space.

I fancied a change so today I opened the box of my Sigelei Sobra and put the TFV18 on it. This time I feel I'm ready for a proper mod again. Actually read instructions and vaping at 100 watts I'm not getting the issues I was getting before. Not opened the dual mesh coil yet as the standard coil was hardly used before. Trying this again because I've seen some mods I want to upgrade the Sigelei to but unsure if it would be a worthy spend. I'm going to try RBA in the new year to save myself money on coils. Any tips would be great thank you

I was a bit afraid of ramping it up but the coil states best from 100 watts and it's surprisingly ok. Not getting too hot and not throat burning. I've chosen one of my less harsh liquids. Aisu pineapple and coconut made to 3mg. Think using anything higher then makes it uncomfortable.

Ordered a Wotofo Smrt pod kit and I'm a bit excited. Has some great reviews esp for the ability to rebuild a stock coil. Got an extra pack of cotton and mesh to make even more. The branding is huge though, might try find some stickers to hide it lol

if you get on with that mod & the smart coils, then check this out in my opinion its better as takes removable 18650 .

Just watched a review on YouTube with that 1. Think I actually prefer pre installed batteries though.

I loved making the mesh coils for this kit, the only bit I had to look up was which way up the mesh goes before bending. As you said; the branding is loud as f**k but the vape is worth it, the included bundle has plenty to get going.

I'm not sure if I'll be getting the reduced size pod. Didn't say on description. Can't wait, got my new juices to try in it when it arrives. New juices are 80/20 so if I add a 100% VG and PG will that make roughly 70/30? Or will it stay the same by equalling each other out?
