Should e-cigs be banned? poll in daily mirror

A poll in the Mirror asks if e-cigs should be banned due to causing house fires.

Personally, I voted no.

this was also an item on absolute radio this morning, but they clearly stated it was because of the wrong charger..but it does seem mainstream media are more alert to these charger issues now. We have educated them
now we need Joe Public to stop using the wrong charger/bad charger etc...respect the device.., because it is a matter of life and death sometimes

As an aside, compared to fires caused by Cigarettes, Electrical/Wiring faults and Gas leaks e-cig fire rates are so small they are almost statistically insignificant.
Most of the fires that do result could have been avoided by using the right equipment, correctly.

I voted no because I am a vaper. I am a vaper so I voted no. Being a vaper makes my preferred choice no. I'm with the arsonists on this.

I would vote yes for making them safer and promoting responsible use.

My mate used to be a fire fighter, he was telling me the other day that he used to attend at least 1 fire a week attributed to fridges, so should ban them too.

Oh and mobile phones being stuck under pillows/duvets at night while charging, we should ban them.

Or a better idea, remove warning labels from everything in this over health and safety world and let natural selection take its course

They kill many thousands of people a year worldwide, lets ban them too.
