Nah it was running at 0.2 ohm popped the o ring and the screw contacted the tank I broke it completely down and soaked it in hot water and got in all the little nooks with a toothbrush now it's all good

Just hunted out my more accurate multimeter and checked my quad coiling efforts and discovered a nice 0.2 ohms. That might explain the hot mech and its continuous high resistance contacts sometimes 2 or 3 times daily. Can hardly wait until I can buy a copper nemesis

What setting do you use for ohm checking I read it somewhere but cant for the life of me remember

On my meter,I set it to the lowest it'll go which is 200 ohms(I think,as it's back in the cupboard so GF doesn't "tidy" it away)
