the site was running fine for about 10 mins know back to been an utter chunt again.

Hmm, seems good here now. I just ran a few updates, that could have been the issue

It has been running slow off and on for a few hours now. Right this very second it seems ok.

I've been running a load of updates and adjusting settings so I'm going to see if it settles down over the next 30 mins now as the caches rebuild

Still slow here at my end seems ok early morning then gets slower as the day goes on.

Not for me it's not.
Could it be something to do with the time stamp being off.
Maybe @OccultScientist has forgotten to change the forum clock?

UTC is an hour earlier than BST. Clocks moved forward a few weeks ago now
