By the sounds of it, it was something she did not plan to do, and to fire someone for an accident, even thou it could have upset someone, it is going to far to just fire her. I know i made mistakes in my life, and yep worse than this but even then it wouldn't have been that bad to fire someone over. Should have been a verbal warning and a slap on the wrists for a first time issue.

Just goes to show that despite the recent victory in Brussels there are still a hell of alot of people out there who need educating as to the benefits of e-cigs and also how harmless they actually are.

I think she was in trouble already from what it said in Mail online article, and Mothercare is a bit of a special case because expectant and new mothers can be ridiculously precious about their wellbeing and that of their sprog, and no manager wants their store to get reported to head office.
