So confused

Hi BrothersVXR

I'd look at getting something with an evod personally... Never had much luck with the ce4s, and if you want flavour then the Evods outperform the ce4s by a country mile! :)

VV Batteries mean you can change the way the heating coil vapourises the liquid to make it stronger/weaker. 1100 will last longer. And the evods are less likely to get burnt tastes (And harder to break)

I agree with the above, check out some of my other posts and you will see the problems ive had with the CE4's!

the EVOD is now up and running, after using it for only 10 minutes or so, I can see such a massive difference. the CE4 (copy, as that is all i have left) is now cast aside for emergency use only :P But, not dissing the CE4's, they are good entry level equipment to see if vaping is for you before moving on up

Raguri Pepper thanks guys. Will take your advice and plump for the evod. Do you know if the Sgofar e liquid is VG or PG? Would like the majority to be VG as we like a lot of vapor and have heard that VG is the way to go for lots of vapor.

Also guys, is the Evod pyrex?

Not sure about the Sgofaf liquid - who makes / sells it, Evods are Polycarbonate lined but unless you're going to be vaping strong aniseed, Lemon, Menthols then most liquids are just fine in them, If you want Pyrex try the Aspire Pyrex nova bdc or the protank 2 or 3, or for a wick type the Smok Pyrex vivi nova

Never even heard of them... :P
And, as mentioned, some juices will crack the evod. But, as long as you check first you should be fine.
If you want to get into cloud chasing, an evod just wont cut it. BUT, since you're only just starting out, use the evod for now and learn how to rebuild them. Once you can re-do an evod in one go, and have a nice vape out of it, then move on to 'dripping'... THAT is where you get clouds :')

Thanks chaps. Still got lots to learn but today I got really impatient as I can't order our gear until Monday, I popped into town and picked up an ego ce4 starter kit with a RIPS 80 PG 20 VG strawberry field flavor e liquid. Now as said, this kit is just to tie us over until we can get our hands on our VV kit with evod but I have got to say this kit is a massive improvement over the e lites that we have been using before we found POTV, the difference is night and day! Now if this kit is this good we really can't wait to try an adjustable kit. Saying that, what would be the best to go for, adjustable battery voltage or an adjustable cartomiser? The stall where we got the ego kit had a nice device for £35, the lady wasn't very knowledgeable but said it had an adjustable tank for adjusting the strength.

Here's our ego starter kit.

Now I'm heading off for another vape session :)

A massive thanks to everybody who took the time and trouble to help us out :grouphug::thankssign:

An adjustable tank to vary the strength!? My word...
No no no.
Voltage changes the vape :) (well, not just that as you will find out on your long journey into the dark side)

Gonna get me head bit off here.
The kit that BrothersVXR has ordered, does not have the dreaded ce4's in it. They are ce5's, and they look like reasonable ones. The stated ohms for the coils is a tad high, but they are rebuildable. So you can use lower ohm heads.
I still use the same pair of ce5's, that came with my original starter kit, 5 months ago, alone side my evods. But recoiled down to 1.6ohm. I use them mainly for me extra strong menthol, very warm menthol vape, great for clearing the sinuses.

BrothersVXR do not over tighten your atom or charger to your battery, leave it slightly loose and also dont drop it and it should last til you get your new kit.

Cant tell if that is the ego ce4 or just a copy of it, needless to say my copy is holding up better than the ego's did.

Experiment a bit with adjusting the atom to battery distance from each other as i found the taste / vapour was different. Its all a learning curve til you find how you like to vape *

*feel like an old timer now, learnt so much over the last few days :D

Lol, so much advice - here's more. Don't leave that unnattended while charging and if possible plug it into a wall wart rather than a laptop. When putting the atomiser (tank) on twist it by the ring at the bottom and only tighten it until you begin to feel resistance - so fingertip tight at most... make sure you keep the wicks wet and take slow steady pulls but the number 1 thing to do? - ENJOY...:grin2:
