To be honest, I hate the smell of an IQOS. Smells like cat piss. I did not any business research like but I don't know how they sell this stuff to other people. It's a horrible thing to smoke. It is my personal opinion based on life experience .

Welcome and good luck! I think we can all appreciate how daunting it can be when you first start vaping as there is so much info and so much to think about! My tip would be to experiment, try different devices and liquids and find what works for you. I know you say the local shop won't have time for you but they can still be a great place to try things before you go and buy. I can't give a pod recommendation as I have a mod and tank using 50/50 12 mg freebase as I tried salts and even as an ex smokers they blew my head off!!
As some others have said menthol is a good place to start and I found that straight tobacco flavours didn't cut it, I thought I just wanted a liquid to replicate a cigarette but that's not going to happen so I went for something similar but with extra. As others have said Manabush do amazing liquids and their Chiri Sun is my go to and the liquid that helped me quit!

I liked chiri so much that I preferred it to a cigarette... that's how I quit smokes. Really looking forward to trying the reloaded version.

To start with I thought I'd want tobacco flavoured liquids but I never found any I got on with. Manabush do great tobaccos but I never found the nokomis range very tobaccoey.
