What's new

Spearmint custard no no no!

I can't suffer the curiosity any longer, @Tubbyengineer - are your lot historically from Southport? If so, we'll be related

Also curious to know if we moved in any of the same circles over the years

No, 'fraid not. Moved to Southport 25 years ago From Sheffield, but in the many moons since then I've worked in amusement arcades in the town centre, worked the Bar at Palm Court when the Hit Man & Her were there, Worked at the Floral Hall, Security at Phillips... Blah Blah..

That does sound like a good idea, i am mulling over different flavour combinations and stuff i like, and then i will try accordingly, but i want to get the basics weighed up first.
I was sat on thursday making up my crimbo spiced rum, thinking of all the flavours and what i could get as concentrates to make a juice to vape lol!

Cinnamon, nutmeg, maybe a bit of orange

Lime, and possibly a cola flavouring too!
been thinking of victoria sponge and all manner of high calorie foods that i could vape, but then it is getting it right, thats why i have my book so i can write down what works and what needs to be left alone :)

Ahh - Palm Court - I'm sure that's the club that was owned by someone I went to college with. That one had the mirrors everywhere as I remember. I got a little tipsy in there one night, toddled off the the loo - saw someone vaguely familiar walking towards me, she didn't move and I walked straight into her before I realised she was a mirror.

I worked for Silcocks in the Golden Fry (as it was then) and the Ice Cream kiosk next door - lasted 2 days I think - but I did break their brand new Mr Whippy machine.

I like the cola flavored liquids but I've not found one that doesn't dry my mouth out after a few toots, that just takes the enjoyment of the flavor

Its the same with some other flavors as well and its another factor in mixing, as it can taste awesome but if it gives you a dry mouth after a short while you will get sick of it quick

In, that case we may have crossed paths, I used to work at the Galaxy next door to Waterstones... I was slimmer then...

I'm always in the market for new ideas, but when I see a title that looks interesting, it has something like Vanilla Custard as a flavour - that seems like cheating to me - a bit like buying green paint instead of mixing your own. I want to know basic flavours I need to MAKE the vanilla custard to add to the blend.

If it were cooking - I want to make it from scratch, not with pre-mixed ingredients

All my concentrates are basic flavours, not blends

Favourite hangout was the pool hall in the Scarisbrick - had a Tempest machine in there - the only video game I could ever play.

Other than that, we hung out at the fair or the outdoor pool - oh, and the YMCA roller skating

But all this might be slightly before your time.

You'll probably find that most of the custard flavours out there are from a basic custard concentrate tweaked with extra flavours and additives like EM or Stevia, Extra vanilla, or cream, or egg
