Aloha man, the nemesis and kayfun clone is what i use at the moment, be ready to argue with making your own coils, might also want to get a kick cause you can end up with hot juice which doesnt taste right if you just go straight from the battery

I've bought plenty of A1 kanthal and silica wicks. Looking forward to building my own coils etc. Got a few decent 18650 batteries, MNKE i think, that im planning to use in the nem. Wasn't going to use a kick, don't really know much about them. Does anyone else use mech mods without kicks and Whats the benefits of using one?

The kick is a Variable Voltage addon, it basically allows you to pick the voltage you want to be using

Suppose that's a good option to have, but doesn't that defeat the object of a mechanical mod... Is VV the only benefit of using a kick or are there others?

Other than VV/VW and making the mod about an inch longer no, but its all about being able to use the coils to their fullest. I currently don't use a kick but am planning to get one
