'Same as' comes from the wires makeup - barely any difference, better in some instances.

He could flog it as a wonder wire as some big names flog N80 as and charge a premium but @stealthbot plays the game fair.

Anyone tried the HUGE roll of Standard Issue Resistance Wire?
It is noted as 'almost Kanthal'.
No reviews on the website yet.
Just curious as may get if the 'same or better' than Kanthal.

RE: The standard issue, it's unlikely anyone will be able to tell the difference. If the bulk reels we respool from weren't clearly marked we'd have trouble telling them apart as other than the Standard wire being slightly more ductile they're physically identical. Possibly an ever so slight colour difference.

It's not as clean, but we give it a polish.

If a vendor was to sell it as kanthal it's unlikely anyone would notice any difference or complain.

Maybe someone would like to review it?
