Steeping High VG?

I'm really looking for some help. My main problem is that I'm allergic to PG. 50/50 ejuice makes my throat dry and I have to clear my throat often.

I tried to mix my own ejuice. Bought some 90%VG and bought some flavours from Chefs. All flavours mix in 20%. So it ends up 72%VG. And I'm just good for that ratio. But the taste is just some how muted. Is that because of the high VG?
What can I do. Do they ejuice need more steeping? Or do I have to add more flavor?

Maybe I should try 80%VG and still mix in 20% so it end up with 64%VG.

My device is MTL

pg disperses the flavour better. you maybe need to mix it a bit stronger.

what kit are you using as for mouth to lung most high ohm coils will struggle with hig vg juice.
what concentrates did you try. were they one shots so ready mixed flavours. fruits dont need that much steep but desserts, creams, custards need a good few weeks steep time and you wont get much flavour at first.

Tobacco type flavours also benefit from a good steep. as already said Fruit ones are mainly your go to shake and vape concentrates, never had to try full VG mixes but i think most coils would struggle with it but i am no expert on the subject.

If u warm a bottle of juice in a pot of water (like heating a baby bottle) its called a quick steep, it thins the vg allowing it to absorb more flavor, but imho there is simply no replacement for ageing as it gives time for the flavors to mature.

Also, ive read that not all vg is created equal, and that some brands are thicker than others. I have no idea if this is true or not, or why that would be the case, its just what ive read.

Edit: forgot to mention, certain flavors can be negatively affected by heating, ive heard milk/cream tends to be one of them

Depending on the severity of your PG intolerance, you could mix using AVG or add distilled water to thin down the thick VG which will wick better in your MTL device. Approx 10%distilled water should do the trick.
As @zouzounaki said, VG mutes the flavour more than PG so you may have to increase ur flavour percentage.
If your using VG based flavour concentrates, they do require a higher % to get a reasonable flavour strength.

That is because some companies sell Aqueous VG which has 10 or 20 percent of Pharma Grade Water mixed in.
It makes the VG thinner.
This is good for better wicking of high VG juice.
@XaloRodriguez this could help you in two ways, it will make the wicking better in an MTL setup, and will absorb the flavour concentates better, as most concentrates, particularly Flavour Art are made for use in food flavourings applications.
