Yeah, like I said you could find it for half the price last year. I'm going for this...
0.8L Professional Digital Ultrasonic Cleaner Machine + Timer Nealy 1L 008 | eBay
The main problem with the plastic ones seems to be condensation getting in the electronics, this simple metal construction has the controls away from potential leaks and they make the bigger versions that go for hundreds (and thousands) so the transducer is hopefully decent. 50w instead of 30w and a half hour timer too.

I'm a bit dubious about the terms specified (no support if you leave negative feedback!) but I'll take a punt and y'all know how it goes ;)

I bought the Ultra 7000 £30 from Maplin and that timer is 8 minutes, Then could not resist the Aldi one yesterday for £20 that has 3 settings, 3 minutes, 5 minutes and 8 minutes but if you keep pressing the "set" button it changes to 90 secounds then 600 secounds, obviously 10 minutes, all it says is to rest it fo 3 minutes between cycles. so I will use the Maplin one for my atties, and the Aldi one for steeping. Just trying to find a good hiding place for the Aldi one as I got away with the first one for the missus jewelry, I cant justify a second one lol.

I'm sure women hide shoes and handbags too 'oh, this? Yeah, no, I got it ages ago!' ;)

Good call, it looks like the ones we used to have in the labs at uni, hopefully that means it's commercial rather than consumer grade. I reckon I'll give it a go as well, terms cant be any worse than ukecigstore.

Ha Ha so right, and spose I could say its a back up jewelry cleaner lol

Get it right! You were worried about using the one she uses for jewelry for items with machine oil on because you didn't want it to effect some of her more delicate pieces. Men are so bad at lying :P

Good luck with that one slightly out my budget.
Im going to Aldi - £20 apparently you can still get it tonight so im gunna take a cheap punt.

Yes the Aldi one goes up to about 8 minutes, but give it 2-3 minutes after each session as it can get quite hot and it may over work the machine.

Glass bottles are preferred I've heard, they let more of the vibrations reach the liquid inside the bottle, however I'm using plastic at the moment and had no problems with it so far, but yes glass does seem to be better apparently.

Well I have to say I don't see what all the fuss is about I was quite disappointed after mixing up a couple of different custards for my first time using my new ultrasonic for steeping I tried them before then after the 2hr dip in the ultrasonic bath and there was no difference in taste at all,the cleaner works brilliantly shines attie's up a treat just does nothing for steeping juice

Sent from the top of an ever increasing mountain of vape gear!

Did you put the bottles in the tray? If they're touching the metal outer bowl it greatly reduces the results.

I've still got a niggling doubt at the back of my mind about ultrasonic plastic degradation. I've looked into it a little bit but haven't found much. I've got lots of glass bottles though so it's all good.
