Should not be any need for flavor wick, just fluff up the cotton a bit, once the juice hit's it the cotton expands a bit and fills up nay gaps.

just tried removing the flavor wick on a coil i had built.. took out all the gurgling it had and now back to an excellent vape! thanks a ton Romelee
