Stevia crystals help

Hi. Folks,

I've got myself some stevia crystals and I am trying to dissolve them into a solution.
I have used approx 1 teaspoon of crystal and 1 part water to 2 parts VG and so far have diluted with 30 ml but still the crystal keeps reforming.
Does anyone know the dilution rate or have I bought the wrong stuff.?
Ps I have heated it slightly and it dissolves but 2 hrs later and its back

Err I am probably wrong but I am sure I read somewhere that if the crystals re-form then you have saturated the liquid and you won't get any more to dissolve. Then again it may be because you are trying to dissolve into VG. I have some VG flavours and there is always some crystals/sludge in the bottom of the bottle that needs mixing back in before I use them.

A similar thing has happened to me. I dissolved 2g stevia in 20ml of pg, it went in with a bit of warming but after leaving overnight totally crystallised out forming a big lump. So i just warm it gently in some warm water to redissolve it b4 using. Job done

I've got sucralose dissloved in avg at 20% and it stays in solution.

ps. i got stevia and sucralose from bulk powders

You did get pure stevia It's not cut with anything else

I did get 100% stevia crystals just wasn't sure crystal was the right thing
I have added more liquid and it seems to have dissolved
May need to add more crystal now
I'll be happy with a few at the bottom
Out of interest how much solution are you adding to your juice?

I bought liquid stevia but use it VERY sparingly. It's at least twice as sweet as sucralose (Or at least to me it is)

I only just made it up so tried once so far. I thought i'd remember and didnt take any notes. So it think i added about 5-10 drops of stevia to 10ml of butterfly bait, wasnt sweet enough so added another 10 drops of sucralose. Anymore and i think it wud begin to taste a bit too chemical.This was plenty sweet enough for me. It added a sort of slightly powdery/sherberty mouth feel similar to incompletly cooked birds custard

A little off topic, but what is Butterfly Bait like? I heard about it when searching for Callipitter Chow and I've seen it on Chefs Vapour, but always wondered what it was like.

Is it a standalone flavour, or would you mix it with other flavours in the same way as Callipitter Chow?

Butterflybait is good as a stand alone, but i reckon it cud be mixed with a custard. I only made 10ml and have vaped it all. I'm really bad identifying flavours in a mix so i'm gonna mix up some more at 15 and 20%, and some butterfly custard. Will report back soon
