Hi chaps, just a couple of questions, Question 1. I Do my own mixing [Just made up some custard/vanilla to try at 6mg strength] and leave all my liquids, flavour concentrates and finished ejuice ready to vape in a sealed tin [so no sunlight etc.] and leave in the kitchen on the shelf but I Do put the 54mg nicotine base in the fridge, now basically do any/all or none need to go in the fridge or are liquids ok at room temperature ?
Question 2. Steeping [Very confused !!!] Again the finished juice goes into glass 50/100ml bottles and caps screwed on, put in tin with lid on and only opened to put juice into a 20ml plastic bottle that I Carry around with me, is steeping just down to leaving it for a few weeks before use ? all seems ok but any advice would be great to improve the finished juice.
thanks again for any help.

All liquids will store longer in a cool dark location so fridge is good and freezer long term.
Steeping___ do not believe everything people tell you but test your juice periodically and see what you think.

As far as I have seen it's a case of just do what works for you.

Nic Base: If you plan to use this within 6 months then it is fine kept at room temperature. If you plan on long-term storage then brown or blue Glass bottles in the freezer.

Concentrates: Basically if you plan on using them by their BBE date then again room temp is fine but really keep them out of direct sunlight.

Mixed juice storage: Here is where the voodoo starts. If you keep a juice longer than a year then it will (mostly) still be fine to vape but the nic content will have decreased some. Juice stored in glass containers will last longer than juice stored in plastic. Again the darker and cooler it is the longer it will last.

Steeping: This is Voodoo country. Get your pile of bones and your chicken blood ready :11: There are many exceptions but generally Most juice will benefit from steeping and even if steeping makes no difference to your juice then it is really unlikely to be worse after steeping. My own poor experiments have shown me that juice will mature quicker in plastic than in glass bottles and I have read elsewhere that glass will retard the steeping process.
The best way I have found is just to leave the juice in a nice cool dark drawer for a few weeks and give it a shake up now and then when you remember. Sometimes I find that a juice is not steeping properly and generally this can be helped by leaving the top off the bottle for a week or two. Beware of leaving all your juice open as some flavours will almost entirely vanish if left exposed. Many people say that Ultrasonic steeping is the way to go and good luck to them. Personally I am not keen on this method as it almost always heats up the juice and when you heat the juice the nic content will start to degrade. Again it's personal choice and if it works for you then dont muck with what aint busted. I have read of people who whisk their mixes with a milk frother every day I have read of people who stand their juice in the windo to get the direct sunlight on it and I have read of people who zap their mixes in the microwave for a few seconds every day. Not anything I would try but it works for them.

Clear as mud?

It sounds like you have a system that works so just keep doing what works :D

For me mix juice shake vigorously put in cupboard and leave it for prescribed time required for type of juice being made as different juices can vape straight from the mixing table and others i.e custard and the like can take a few weeks to a couple of months
