What's new

Stupid question I expect........!

The little plastic rim on the top of my old v1 Lavatube cracked and broke off after about 20 falls.... But superglued back on and is rock solid.
I spraypainted my lavatube and it never hurt it at all! And that was 3 WET coats of paint I put on it!

Yep, that's the bit I was saying is coming loose on mine, but so far it's just a tiny gap that seals again with a little pressure, I might glue it back down eventually if it gets worse, but for now I can't be fecked haha.

Aside from helping you to adjust the flavour and vapour by changing the voltage applied to the heating coil, the ability to vary the voltage and find the "sweet spot" for flavour for a given tank or cartomizer also should enable you to optimize the efficiency of the cartomizer and therefore you should have less difficulties with burnt wicks or flooded atomizers. Thus variable voltage can help to preserve and extend the life of your tank or cartomizer. A variable voltage device that can also detect the resistance of any attached cartomizer will help you to find the sweet spot for that device that much faster. So variable voltage devices can be very useful to the serious vaper but may not be appreciated by the novice.

I highly reccomend a lavatube, I moved from ego's to a LT and never looked back, they can stand a fair bit of rough handling also, mine has fallen off coffee tables, computer desks, out of my pockets, knocked out of my hands and sent soaring into walls..(I'm rather clumsy, add in a 7 year old that charges around full speed without looking where he's going and it's chaos!) The top section where the connector is shows signs of minor separation but a little pressure pops it back in place, still works the same as always.

The top of my LT was coming off too so I just eased it off completely, applied some super glue, and stuck it back on. That was months ago and it's working great with no signs of loosening.

VW or variable wattage is a stupid term. What these devices do is allow you to find your "sweet spot" with an attached device (atomizer, cartomizer, tank etc) - if you then change device and the resistance of the attachment changes, the electronics work out what voltage to deliver so that the wattage (power) delivery remains the same as that you first selected i.e. the device supplies a constant wattage. DOH!

Hey! Hey! Calm down calm down lol.

Bryan whilst all that is true, you need to initially VARY your wattage in the first place in order to find your SWEET SPOT which you can then maintain as your CONSTANT....do you not? :)

If you couldn't VARY it you would be stuck with someone else's idea of 'sweet' :D

Ye they don't come with chargers, but the charger you have is fine. Charging time will be 2-3 hours
