Everyone I have ever known own an astray was an ars whole just thought you'd want to know.
I use my dripper with low ohm build for one reason only efficency I can drop my nice strenth and dial up or down the power for he juice for the day for the tyep of nice hit I want. My big mods ate for battery life and because I find the bigger mods easier to use. Bigger buttons activate easier and the weight makes the device easier to use with hands with grip issues.
When I'm in the pubs I drink in the guys know il probably have something mad on the go, be it a hand grenade, a weird metal pipe or a huge 'bomb detonator'. I have a laugh blowing clouds with my mates be cause it's a giggle. Sit at a mates or at the shop and just arse around try random juices and hardware and enjoy the hobby side.
At the bar I don't tend to bother unless it's a group of us together having a few and a laugh and it's always done in a bar that knows about the kind of stuff we are capable of creating from the get go. It's not like they are expecting a cigalite wisp when we let them know there's gonna be a few/group of us vaping. Ironically they do ban red/orange led cigalites.
Winding mates up by making their pint smell of cinnamon or cream is.still funny 4 years In as is fogging the front of their screen out so they can't see when we are playing CS.Source on a lan.
Yeah I walk round with a cloud capable rig and yes I hit it in public when im outside gwnerally stood away to one sode from people. I blow it either up and out of the way or down towards the floor and even then rarely to its full potential. Because it's a very nice vape for when I'm in my lunch break or walking into work at max power, hot rich thick vapour with heavy hitting nic release like my old capstan full strengths or my turkish tobacco cigs and on my way home can be dialed down to a nice relaxing destress wind down vape that replaces my sweet vanilla cherry pipe or my cherry or sweet clove tobacco cigarette.
I sometimes vape in the supermarket and generally hold it so there's no vapour or am using something hassle free and hardly noticeable. Like the 80/20 pgce vs mix I have.
There is a time and place for both sorts of setups and both deliver the vape I need at the time.
I'm not interested in a pity fuck don't slick my hair back or drive like a cunt. I do find it amusing how much people project onto someone for having a 'flash' or 'large' watch. The petty envy of he/she has a nice car so he/she/it must be a prick and the but but but your doing It wrong!!
You don't get why people do it fine.... no bother... you vape a different way rock on do what you like. But assuming that im all the swearwords under the sun and am sexually inadequate and can't talk to women because I engage in WRONGBADFUN that grates a bit.
If a person is being a pillock they'd be a pillock with an ego or with a pen or with a vauxhall nova. It's the person not the device. Most people have a thing called self awareness.
The guy you were with in the pub with the dripper may have been just excited to show off a new gadget hell we've all been there and if I caused upset in that situation i'd apologise if the smell/cloud bothered anyone and if it did i'd hit that device outside only or alter my technique to compensate for that fact.
Same with tricks and playing around... sat in the pub one of my mates does rings and fills a glass but it's done in a just our little circle way and stays low key and chilled out.
If people are being obnoxious they would more than likely be obnoxious with football chants or crude jokes. Same with the elitist in shops or the salesmen that talk up and up sell it would be and is the same in everything from whisky to rc cars to firearms
Theres an attitude I see creeping into the vape comunity just as I have watched it in the airsoft community that I'm not keen to see raise it's ugly little head.
The 'geardo' chip on the shoulder elitist looking down at the 'peons' who aren't part of the Xy 'masterrace' whose liquid isn't made in a monostry and cut and flavoured with Virgin tears and imported yak urine bottled in Quat and delivered in a box with stainted glass windows and says horibble things to his friends about your 'pauper' setup and tells you to stop tainting his hangout/group/meet/shop
The anti high end user attitude that justifys it by preemptively labelling them as elitist and arrogant and general 'my xyz is better than your clone crap' 'if you don't have a kayfunn 4 on top of a Rdna40 don't talk to me' spouters. Prole going so far as to point out real kit and jeer and throw abuse and laugh. Tell them they are stupid for paying xyz and are using it as compensation etc.
And the YOU DON'T NEED THAT, where someone defines 'reasonable' and hurls abuse at anything outside of that device and or style of performing the activity. Condemning choices in asthetics, in design, in sizes, in power. Again implying pens envy as one of the root causes for purchase or engagement with this Wrong Way. (No one needs more than x fps for example or x mag capacity in airsoft chat)
The you guys are all knobhead's and wanders and cuts because you perform the activity like this crowd. (Watch a full auto vs semi only cqb debate in airsoft forums for this)
And the ever popular OMG the hobby/activity is going to shit because of all you doing xyz and are ruining it for the rest of us as the market focuses on you.
Especially often combined with the OMG OMG OMG negative reaction to your behaviour will get us fucked over good and proper by the press and get this banned and it will be all 'insert subgroup's' fault.
It's weird how the same attitudes and arguments are tearing both communities apart with the same allegations of dodgy people in the industry/corruption and wicked agenda's. The same cycle of it being fashionable to hate on xyz

Sorry but a line has to be drawn somewhere, and when people cross it, we should use good old fashioned 'shame' to bring them back into line.
I am all for freedom and personal liberty, but your right to swing your fist ends where my nose starts. If you are engaged in behaviour that directly or indirectly negatively impacts me, I am going to shame you for it.
Vaping is new and the eyes of the world are on us as a community, and if the community doesn't police it's self, there are plenty of other who will inflict rules, regulations and laws upon us. We do need to be on our best behaviour.
Sorry, but I do not believe anybody spends so long shopping in a supermarket that they could not wait till they get outside. If you are vaping in a supermarket, you are an asshole.
Even before the smoking ban, I don't think it was polite or socially acceptable to smoke in any shop or business other than pubs and restaurants since the 1950s. It wasn't done, because it wasn't polite.
If you couldn't do it with cigarettes (or food and drink), why would you do it with a vape unless you are making a statement. You are trying to force acceptance on people and they shouldn't have to put up with it. Just because you can, doesn't mean you should. I find it offensive and I do vape.
This 'each to their own' attitude has turned into 'I can so I will, fuck you'. I am not just talking about vaping, but in the modern world in general. Seems it is unfashionable to show modesty, decorum and a general consideration for other people. You may have the right to show off, but other people have the right to think you are a dick, and they may just have the right to throw you out of their establishment.
You should be ashamed of yourself. And to drive the point home, your parents should be ashamed that they didn't teach you manners and basic consideration for other people.

I agree with jediknight129 Great reply! I said in another thread recently about people shouldn't blow clouds in pubs, but I've changed my mind. Blowing vape into an empty beer bottle or pint glass is funny, and if it's not right in front of some other persons face, then fine. Blimey it's like for a moment I almost forgot myself that it's not illegal to have a laugh with your mates.
Btw I vape in Asda, not huge clouds, and never had an issue. Don't always need to vape, but if I feel like it, why not. Vaping is much cleaner than cigarettes. Fags leave ash on the floor, vaping doesn't, so it's not the same thing. Vapers often vape more often than they smoked due to the way the nicotine is delivered. Vaping aint smoking don't ya know.

Anyone that has to vape in a supermarket IS a dickhead,end of!
If permission is given to vape in the pub,why should it matter to anyone whether the vapour quantity produced is large or small as long as it isn't leaving others requiring the services of a guide dog to find the door?
I used an RDA during the evening of my daughters 18th party at a local club,my mate used a CE4.He was the only 1 who commented on the quantity of vapour I produced,nobody else minded.Not even the daughters friend who had refused to walk alongside my daughter & myself during her sponsored walk as I smoked (in the open air) objected to my vaping,she did comment that it smelled nicer (aniseed) than cigarette smoke during the evening.
Smokers tend to huddle in the doorways outside pubs/clubs & I find it objectionable having to walk through clouds of rank air,yet THAT is where the owner of the building places the bins/stubbers which the smoker ignores when discarding their stubs.The local paper often has a lengthy list of smokers fined for dropping litter,as the council enforcement nazi caught them stamping on their discarded ciggy.
How many of you would ask someone to pick up discarded litter,clean up after their dog or cease pissing against the wall in a darkened corner of the car park,or cease drenching themselves in perfume/aftershave?
There are far more objectionable things deserving the public's intervention than some vaper exhaling a quantity of vapour.Yet I could bet that not one of the posters in this thread would dare to voice an objection to any of the previously mentioned issues,but would ask a fellow vaper not to blow big clouds.
