TAROT NANO AND VECO TANK

hello everyone

im kinda new to vaping and i just got a tarot nano kit with veco tank

im confused/disappointed

the tarot nano looks and feels great in hand

wicked my coil (maybe not that good, but someone said its not important with euc coils) and tried it, as soon as i turned it on it put me on 40W recognizing the coil, so i went on my first drag with that setti g and ive got no taste and almost a nasty taste

I am confused too.
You put a wick in a new stock coil ?
How? Why?
Or am I misunderstanding what a euc coil is ?

it is not my type of kit so I Know nothing about such things, but I have this image of you putting a wick into a coil that already has one.

Surely not?

As I say I am confused but that could have other explanations.

(some beard vapes and a milkshake one)

so i play with the wattage a bit and seems like i cant get to the bottom of it, i always get no taste or little taste and at higher wattage i even get unpleasant taste, with all three juices, all between 70 and more VG

anyone willing to help me with the settings?
whats the right wattage for denses juices??
i really wanna get into vape but i seem really unlucky with it

I just got the vaporesso tarot mini with the veco tank. Having the same issue as you!! I started off with the .5 ohm ceramic euc coil and it tasted weird but I thought it just needed to be broken in. 2 tanks later and i can taste my ejuice a little (way better flavor on my crown tank though) but that same weird flavor is still there too. It is almost a weird plastic like taste for me. really like the way the tank hits and the clouds but can't get over that weird taste. so after a day of it not getting any better I swapped the ceramic coil for the .4 ohm Clapton euc and the weird taste is sort of still there then started getting spit back. so I have given up for now and am using my Crown on it. only thing I can think of is maybe I should try washing it out and then using it again.

Not impressed. I thought the ceramic coils were supposed to have the best flavor ever! hoping it works out because I love the concept of those euc coils!

Let me know if anything works for you.

Think he meant "primed" not wicked. Coils wick juice so easy mistake for a new vaper.

I prefer changing the tank , i tried like 4 ejuices on this veco tank and changing the coils 3 times , thinking the problem is with the juices not the tank ,but then i realized that i'm using one of the worst tanks ever , i like the tarot nano (The Device) not that disgusting tank with the plastic flavor . i don't really know how people on youtube give good reviews on this tank.

I've not seen anyone mention they have that tank .... (which is why I think you've not got a reply)

I'm presuming it's a sub-ohm kit? what spec are the coils? ohms, material, wattage rating?

Right now it could be any number of things, from a tank with poor flavour, to poor juice .... I'm not familiar with any element of your kit, so it's difficult... hopefully someone will have more of an idea.

Is 30 Watts a good recommendation for the tarot nano? Thanks. The coil is euc .5

It's rated at 20 to 55 watts so 30w is fine.

I agree! I've got this kit and the taste is horrible using the veco tank, like a subtle burnt plastic taste. I've used both traditional and ceramic coils and still get a weird taste with both. So I started thinking it was my vape juice and switched up to flavors of naked 100, but still got the same horrible taste. I started using my aspire nautilus 2 tank and it's got an amazing taste, completely different from using the veco! I've read the reviews on the veco and just can't understand why they're so high

Bit late in jumping in, but I've had the tarot nano kit for about 6 days. Late birthday present. The mod itself looks lovely, got the rainbow abstract design;sits in the hand well, small and nice weight/balance. Buttons nice and easy to use.
Downsides - Battery could have done with being a bit more powerful, it drains quite quickly and also takes a while to fully charge.
With reference to the veco tank and coils supplied with the kit. Mine had the standard EUC universal coil preinstalled and a spare 0.5 EUC. I actually emailed Vaporesso yesterday out of frustration as was having similar issues to everyone else with flavour, was getting some, but also a weird aftertaste. I started out dropping some liquid on the coil, topped up the tank and let it sit for around 10 minutes before vaping.
Cant remember what the recommended wattage came up at, something like 33.4? Anyway, started a lot lower as had read it was best to slowly increase wattage until you get the desired sweet spot. It just wasn't happening. Cloud/vapour production brilliant, taste meh. I ended up getting low on juice and got that dreaded burned taste/hit, panicked but persevered...refilled the tank and gradually increased wattage. Using Naked 100 Hawaiin Pog 70/30 Finally, I'm getting a fruity flavour with a smooth creamy vapour. Six days of messing about and a lot of juice wasted I'm almost there with the sweet spot for me at 41.2 watts. I still think strength of flavour is slightly lacking, but it's enjoyable. Maybe just takes time for these coils to 'bed in' Shouldn't be taking that long though! Or maybe it's the juice/liquid I'm using?

No idea on the device but Hawaiin Pog is a strong flavour juice. Certianly shouldn't be lacking flavour in any device.

The flavour is definitely coming through now. The mod itself not too bad at all. Just took some getting used to the tank and coils that came with the kit. Will more than likely go off and do some more research on coils available as very fond of Hawaiin Pog! Reasonably priced too
I'm more for flavour than massive clouds. I have a couple of Aspire tanks, an original Cleito and Cleito exo tank which will fit. Also have original Cool fire TC 100 mod which is still in use and going strong.
