I've spent a while moaning on this forum about how TC gives me a next-to-nothing vape and fed up of trying I was. Well, aside from the fact that I didn't realise you had to adjust wattage as well as temperature, I've just built my first Ni200 coil, registering 0.13 ohms, set at 40 watts. The vape is phenomenal! Vaping Jackson's Reserve. The taste and vapour production is fantastic although I occasionally get an odd taste but I think that's because I forgot to pre-heat my coil before wicking.

I've dropped the temp from 210C with a stock coil to 130C with my build and I'm still getting masses of flavour.

Disregard the above. It was obviously a faulty reading! 175 - 215C depending on what juice I'm vaping!

That's great news!
However, don't dry burn a nickel coil like you would a kanthal coil, or it will oxidize and you may be breathing in nasty stuff. Pulse it at below 10w when building to find hotspots.
Welcome to the TC dimension!

Yeah... it's been hit and miss for a while, with dry hits galore. I now use half the amount of cotton and a well-spaced coil. 25w and anything from 175 to 190C depending on the juice seems to get it bang-on perfect. I think I'll stick with TC self-builds now and it's unlikely I'll go back to kanthal.
