So I'm a London girl, I'd say I was smoking 20 superkings a day. I never really tried to give up as I didn't really have the confidence or belief in myself that I could do it. Also, I "like" smoking- getting away from my desk for 5 minutes, occupying my hands, and the nicotine of course. it's something that many friends and family do and it forms a sort of bond doesn't it? Going out and having a gossip with a fag in your hand, or piling into the outside area of a bar together-you can relate to each other, at least on one level.
I actually had no plan to give up even though I would really love to- The smell, the state of fingertips and, for those who smoke indoors, walls and surfaces, carpets, the state of my wallet!!! I can struggle month to month paying bills yet I'd still be forking out £7 odd a day.
I'm a bit of a techie and a serious bargain hunter which drew me to the ELites on the counter in Morrisons- a big pricey but still cheaper than cigarettes and less of the evil! I thought they were OK and they reduced my smoking habit somewhat. So I've googled ecigs to see what's out there. Initially I put in a £50+ order to another cig-alike company for a good starter kit.
...Then I found this place!!! WOW! I had no idea so much was out there and everybody seems so helpful, friendly and approachable. After an hour or so of browsing around, I decide to dip my toe into the water and order a basic setup- Ego-T x 2 with charger a CE4 clearomiser and a couple of liquids. I got them 2 days later & LOOOVE it! Straight away took a dislike to the tobacco flavour but I'd also got a coconut which is lovely.
I'm smoking about 6-8 stinkies a day now which means I've still got some way to go but I feel really positive about stopping the cigs all together.
Despite my techie head all this new stuff to learn and find out about blows my mind! Its a real shame there aren't more bricks & mortar stores in the area to actually allow me to explore but this site has been amazing.
I've now ordered an EVOD clearomiser and some more liquids but honestly I'm still a baby at all this and trying to find my feet.
