Terk rda problems

Hey everyone , I bought a brand new shiny m.terk rda a couple of weeks ago from a very respectable shop that I'd prefer not to name out of respect . I put my first build in said dripper and as the posts were loose I decided to tweak them tight . The first thing I noticed when I bought the rda was that it came with absolutely NO spares . No Allen key to fit the hex screw in the base , no o-rings , no spare screws - nothing . But hey , I thought - no problem - vamp are a respectable company who as far as I know make high quality equipment . But to my horror , half a turn of the 510 to tighten it and it sheared clean in two !
I contacted the shop it was bought from and as they are out of stock I also emailed vamp in America . Vamp eventually responded after a few emails and asked me to call their American office ?!
The shop I bought the rda from kindly explained that they have been treated like sh*t by vamp , and are probably not going to deal with them again after years of support .

So , that's a word of warning to anyone thinking of buying equipment by vamp .

My last question is - can anyone PLEASE tell me of a 510 pin that will fit my useless brand new rda ????

no matter how bad they treated the shop, I would be after a refund from where you bought it, its not fit for purpose

You shouldn't have to repair a brand new RDA- an expensive one at that.

One of my subscribers directed me over here..

I recieved a Mterk RDA for review from VaporDNA and had the same exact issue.. I wanted to loosen the pin to check if it was adjustable and when i went to screw it back in, The pin snapped in two.. I did not over-tighten or apply to much pressure. Right when it started to get snug, It just snapped.

I did call them and they are sending a replacement. After i posted a photo on Instagram ( search for VapnFagan and you can see it ) then told me i needed to return the damaged one ( which is fine ) but they were not happy with the photo ( i was just trying to make people aware of the issue )

Looking at the pin, They are using a very fragile all copper pin. It is delicate and that pin will snap if your not careful. The screw they used i honestly think could have been bigger/thicker or if they needed to use such a small screw, They should have went with stianless, Not copper..

In all honesty, They SHOULD send you a replacement post screw. So much for being "U.S. Made" and standing behind there products..

Yeah I'd seen your Instagram picture- and their reply in the comments [emoji15].
Bit of a shocker on their part really. The vaping Biker wasn't too keen on his either, and I'd also seen someone say the finish was coming off theirs? Can't remember who though.
If it were a $5 Fastech clone it's to be expected. It's not good news with it being a fairly expensive RDA though.
