No mate, it doesn't work like that apparently, well, not with toilet rolls anyway! I found out the hard way, even though I also tested their air freshener at the same time (I'm not a complete animal). Banned for life from Tesco!

Im just having a look through the tesco policy library and i can't find anything to do with vaping, although there is a bit about e-cigs (or ecig-alikes) and i think the confusion is around the e-cigs that look like fags....there is no policy (instore anyway) that i can find to do with vaping.....i Have emailed the office to clarify the situation about vaping instore as even amongst my colleges there is a bit of confusion as to what they would allow....myself, if i was the duty manager (which i am today) i wouldnt have a problem with it, although i know a few others really would have a problem......

There is a policy for staff around the use of e-cigs, but this is wooly to say the least.....and the office are seem quite happy for the stores to have a local policy, although the wording on that notice is shocking, im not sure i would be happy to challenge anybody on ANYTHING unless i had some sort policy to back me on it....

I can't post any "official" Tesco policy on here, but if i get any comms from the office about it i will update

ok....had an interesting conversation with a guy at the office

What i need now is some reference to the difference between an e-cig and vaping......he seems to think that the use of e-cigs that look like fags are the problem, and not a lightsaber/mod that looks nothing like a fag......

can anybody pm or post on here something that i can pass to him to point him in the right direction? would need it by 4pm is possible

on another note, we regularly get a group of guys smoking shiesha in our costa coffee in store, which is within tesco, and not had one complaint.......
