Thanks Amazon!

i am certainits DPD who do amazon delivery. 1 ebay order they where supposed to deliver they lost at the depot. 1 unordered free mazon delivery chucked over the rear entrance into the garden. I tell thee i would never use DPD myself, they certainly need something shoved up their rear entrance, they're buggers for shite service

Companies tend to suck or shine in different areas.

For instance round us (work) DHL, UPS,UKMail,TNT are great

But DPD local and APC are Twats

They regularly drive into the car park, take one look don’t try the door, don’t get out the van and then bugger off again - I’ve witnessed this. They then claim to have left a card when you complain (which they don’t) and when pulled up on that claim”they couldn’t get the card through the letterbox”.

This has caused me many a throbbing temple vein - and makes members of my staff go to another room until I’ve finished screaming down the phone.

I've tried many over the years dhl handle most of the guitar stuff but my Hermes take the prize for the worst. I've had customers tell me they actually watched the delivery driver kick the parcel up the path. Had to stop using them pretty quickly as I was having a 80% damage rate.

Oldest "scam" (so to speak) in the book.
The actual cost to the courier to deliver, is greater than what they are being paid. So you sit on the package for awhile, say you have made several attempts to deliver, then send it back and claim the lesser, attempted delivery payment.

Well nobody will be pulling that shite on me again. Got my refund in the form of a gift card. So I was about to re-order when I noticed that I could add a "pick up location" to my address book. So I've added my local Post Office. Packages that have to be signed for will now go directly to the PO for me to pick up on my way home in an afternoon. Good luck to the lying bastards trying to claim they attempted delivery there but nobody was home! Hahahahaha!!!!

Ai i agree with you there, hermes are the worst, was expecting a package, was on late shift so was home in the morning, saw hermes pull up (black guy with long arse dredlocks) walks up to the door, waited for knock (i was literally 2 foot away) and he posts something. Hastely walks back to his van and drives off at the speed of light. He posted a 'sorry you werent in' card, absolute lazy prick.
Made a complaint, hermes couldnt give a fuck, asking for details of the package you couldnt possibly know.
He must work my area as iv seen him do knock-a-door-run on a few houses on my street.
