Its alive. After hearing of leaking issues I overstuffed the wick and it choked. Second time around I used less wick and that solved that issue, after filling I removed the tank to adjust the airflow (mine is ridiculously tight) and the top of the mod was wet but I cleaned it up and it seems dry now. I must have nudged the coil when rewicking as the flavour is somewhat muted now. I think this is going to be a tank that takes lots of fiddling but once its set will be brilliant. I am also tempted to remove the Clapton coil that came with it and put in my own round wire kanthal.

Does seem that the current trend is for the inner chamber style design that was in the siren.
Berserker, hastur and now the true.

Stands to reason.
Look at the successful single coil dtl rta's like the Advaken Manta CP - All they need to do is to scale it down.
Bet we're not far away from a kylin mini mtl rta or a wasp nano mtl rda.

I don't dislike the Clapton coils but I want to try a plain kanthal to see if its any better. My mod is still dry so i'm not sure what happened earlier on. I must admit I am liking it though especially if it stays dry. I don't have much luck with MTL tanks and leaking issues. My superpower is I can make any tank leak.

Well my first build it leaked everywhere second build was much better still leaking but not as much
For the people that have one of the true tanks. Do you close the airflow when filling or not

The top re fill is really tight to open to the point it hurts my thumb but the bottom airflow is a lot better not as tight to move .

I don't close the bottom airflow as I have to remove the tank off the mod just to move the ring. My topfill is quite tight as well.

I always close the airflow with every tank I have, just in case! I have washed my tank now and am going to try a simple Kanthal coil, we shall see!

I watched the naturevape build video and that’s how I did my first build .
But having watched a couple more reviewers they are both building it differently on one they have the coil legs down. On another the coil legs up and using more cotton that you can see it through the glass will have another try later

Built a kanthal coil 7 wraps 2.5mm rod slightly spaced coming out at just over 1ohm. Wicked it as the Naturevape video closed the airflow, filled it up and no leaks! I am sure most do the same as me so not sure what is happening with the folk that are having so much trouble with it. @Coolie27 this is for you.

Just done build number three using the supplied coil with coil legs at the top
But this time used a bit more cotton and did my tail ends a bit longer it’s reading 0.90 at 16 watts and so far no leaks and the flavour is really good
