Yes, the young are all bloody delinquents, they are the ones responsible for all the fires, beastiality, weird sex parties, booze and general lawlessness around here. How fucking dare they, I like a quiet dull life, honest.

In that instance yes, whoever is meeting like that should be blamed as the rules are pretty clear. However, we are under local restrictions that state we are not supposed to do anything with anyone but our own household but I spoke to a friend today who boasted about playing golf and going for drinks with 2 friends (all from different houses) and they are all in their 40s so it's not just the young.

I was supposed to go out with a few mates last friday night. Theres 3 of us have birthdays in September and we've went out on the Friday closest to the 16th every year for about 15 years now but we cancelled it this year because theres usually at least 6 and we couldn't go anywhere. Were bot as young as we were but still all under 40.

On the monday I went out to get some things so thought I'd go in for a sad lonely pint to drown my sorrows and there was a group of 8. Granted the last 2 were at another table beside 6 of them but they were clearly together, if one left one from the smaller table would come in and sit with the rest and go back when the other came back. Didnt stop the bar bringing them 8 drinks at a time going between both tables so clearly together.

Pissed me off more because we had to cancel our night out yet these older folks who are doing everything right apparently where doing this. I almost said something but decided just to down my pint and not be the covid police and go home.

Sorry you didn't get your Birthday night out, that's shit, I didn't get mine this year either, or last year as it happens, anyway there are always people who are gonna break or bend the rules to suit them, young or old. Age doesn't matter sometimes, a twat is a twat at any age.
