Ive been vaping 3 year now and use a straight up mod and tank and ive been toying with the idea of bitting the self made coil bullet. My problem is i have absolutly zero idea of where to start. Not so much with how to make my own. Ive been reading and watching a few youtube vids. My issue is what i need. Every time i have the thought to get my act together and i have a google session and find all the how to's and the coil building tool kits and info for RTA, RDA etc etc, but i just need someone to tell me exactly what i need as in... this tank, this wire, this wick, this tool kit thats beginner friendly. Everytime i search for kits all i get is tool kits or how to's and i still dont know what atomizer i'd need as a beginner.

Current mod and tank coil setup I watt about 50 to 60 but that's only because any higher and my coils pop after 3 or 4 days. I get roughly 8 to 10 days per coil at the moment. I use it a lot. Go through about 250ml of juice a week. Not overly fussed on vapour quantity, want more flavour over anything else.

One thing I would say, is don't buy loads of tools etc, kits you won't need half of the bits.
Good pair of cutters, Wotofo are very good. Mini screwdriver set, the kind you can wrap wire around, 2mm, 2.5mm, 3mm etc.
Coil reader, or as I use, regulated mod to check ohms, tweezers (ceramic) good pair of scissors. Usual stuff.
Half the bits in kits you won't use tbh!

You can add gear as you go.
Download a coil calculator to get amount of wraps, wire gauge, etc correct, for the right ohms reading.
Build safe to your batteries.

Probably loads I've forgotten, but done bright spark will chip in.

Have you considered MTL vaping ?
You will still get loads of flavour and should drastically cut that 250ml a week.

For making coils you may have some bits and pieces at home to give you a start.
What you need is.
Ceramic Tweezers
Pair of small screwdrivers 1 x Flat and 1 x Philips.
Pair of wire snips.
Sharp Scissors
Something for wrapping your coils, this could be Drill Bits, Screwdivers or what a lot of vapers use a coiling jig.
You can use a regulated mod to tell you what oHms your coils are.
It doesnt have to be expensive.
