Recently got blaze AIO. There's a rattle with the battery inserted. Was working fine for 2 weeks now battery keeps losing connection using brand new 18650 so it is not a battery issue

i would send it back to whoever you bought it from. sounds like it’s broken.

What are the battery contacts like? if they are bent bits of metal then they have become too bent, you can try and bend them back but do it too many times and they'll snap. If it's rattling and losing contact, then that would seem the likely reason.

Poor design really.

looks like it’s a tube with a lid that screws on.

but then, what does that little clip/lid that’s off to the right do?

The slide on lid for the battery screw also has copper terminals so is part of the circuit ....too many parts to go wrong imho

Take battery tube out and pull up bottom connector
If wanted place a small bit of cut tube like out of a squonk bottle underneath
Not the best connection this happens on a lot of mods
