So as the title says I'm looking to upgrade. Currently using a eGo-C and Protank 2 but I am thinking of upgrading to the Vamo V5 and the RSST. I've re-wicked my Protank coils pretty well and I've watched a good few videos for re-wicking genesis attys, just wondering if there are any heads up before I make the plunge :).

My questions to you guys are, are there any genesis attys that you would recommend for a newbie? And what's the best SS mesh and Kanthal mm I should go with if I choose the RSST??

Cheers!

If your defo going with the mesh wicks,an RSST is a good choice as the wick hole & base of the tank are insulated so chasing any (unlikely)shorts is a simple process.I'm using #400 mesh in mine atm with the coil made out of 0.3 mm wire,on a Vamo v5.I used a jewellers screwdriver as the former to wind the coil (8 turns @ approx dia. the same as the wick hole gets me 1.8 ohms approx as my multimeter is saying 3.9 ohms & the Vamo is 1.9 ohms)I'll be reducing the number of coils once this tank is empty as I want it closer to 1.2 ohms to enable me to reduce the wattage needed(and increase battery life,as my batteries are ex-laptop and only last about 8-11 hours on 9 watts which is shite for an 18650)
