@eshelby_dunn - you are putting about 7 volts through the circuit! Not a good idea. You need to either power it by a single battery at 3.7V or wire the batteries in parallel to keep the voltage the same but double the capacity. Or stick in a VV board and meter and make it a VV mod.

Also, make sure you insulate all of your joints to make sure they don't short against the body of the tin.
