Tips on moms milk please

Hey folks,I'm about to buy in a couple of Concentrate's so I can have a go at the moms milk recipe but I was wondering does it really have to be vg based nic?
As I generally only use pg based nic and also what steeping time would you recommend?

PG nic is fine, just use a calculator to work out the quantities to get your preferred ratio of pg/vg. I can never leave it alone, once made I use it, but it does start to improve as time goes on. Im making another batch tomorrow along with some minty the toff, black and blue and red astaire. Oh and some tigers blood.
